Congratulations AnMed Medical Center Crisis Assessment Team (CAT), Anderson, SC!

The creation of the CAT Team and the development of the “MCare” unit have had a significant impact on patients, resulting in reduced agitation, higher patient satisfaction, and improved outcomes. The collaborative efforts between emergency room staff, psychiatrists, security, and community partners such as FAVOR, are key to the success of the program. The model is gaining statewide attention, with other hospitals eager to learn from its success.
