The Franciscan Indianapolis Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit has been named Inpatient Program of the Year, a recognition that reflects the team’s exceptional performance, dedication, and commitment to excellence throughout the year.
As of the end of November 2024, the unit not only met but exceeded operational and clinical expectations. The average daily census reached 19.46, surpassing the target of 18, with 100% occupancy maintained for 77 days.
Clinical outcomes also exceeded key benchmarks. The unit outperformed CMS expectations in critical areas, including self-care and mobility scores, demonstrating a high standard of patient-centered care and functional recovery.
In addition to these achievements, the unit has distinguished itself through strong collaboration with hospital administration and alignment with system-wide goals.
